As an enthralling blend of political metaphor and sci-fi thrill ride, “Wolf’s Hole” introduces us to a group of ten adolescents, drawn from diverse educational institutions, who are handpicked to participate in a unique skiing workshop situated in the icy mountainous landscape. On the inaugural day of the workshop, an extra student shows up, each one clutching an invitation, thus totalling the count to eleven.
Their routine skiing instruction takes a harrowing turn when a colossal avalanche ensues, leaving the ski-lodge in a state of isolation, cut off from the outside world. With their food supplies dwindling rapidly, their trio of instructors emphasizes the need for cooperation to stretch the existing resources or makes a chilling suggestion – to select one amongst them to leave.
As the tension mounts with the passage of time, the adolescents soon discover the unnerving truth – their supposed “teachers” are far from what they initially appeared to be. This discovery spirals them into a world of uncertainty and fear, leaving audiences at the edge of their seats.
