Jurek Kiler, once an ordinary taxi driver mistaken for a notorious hitman, has now become a prominent public figure in Poland, engaging in philanthropic activities alongside his girlfriend, Ewa Szańska. Their peaceful life is disrupted when two criminals, Stefan “Siara” Siarzewski and Ferdynand Lipski, seek revenge from behind bars. They first hire a world-renowned assassin known as “The Jackal” to eliminate Kiler, but the attempt fails. Undeterred, they discover a Cuban colonel, José Arcadio Morales, who bears an uncanny resemblance to Kiler, and plan to use him to impersonate and tarnish Kiler’s reputation. Complications arise when Lipski’s daughter, Aldona “Dona” Lipska, falls in love with Kiler and wishes to marry him, further entangling the web of deception and leading to a series of comedic and action-packed events.
